My parents opened my heart to the art of books. My earliest memories of literature, forever connected to mother's voice, came before I got "my first real book." I was four year old. It was made of cloth. It was about animals and I loved it. Once I learned to read, I fell deeper in love with books and the worlds they opened to me. I began writing at the age of 9, and never looked back. I grew up in Circle Pines, MN, but attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Go Badgers!, where I earned my Bachelors of Science in English with an emphasis on Creative Writing. I later received my Master's in Teaching from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN! Yay Pipers. I have the most amazing three brothers and a fantastic sister. I love to sing, as well as volunteer in church. I have grown to see God's love in my life in ways I can't deny. It's this love that has let to the creation of the EstherMinisters blogs on this page. In my lowest points, I met several people who I expected to throw religion in my face but decided to just be my friends. From them I learned that I can be me and you can be you. So if you're here to receive writing or editing services from EstherBanksWrites and that is it, you're welcome. If you're here for the EstherMinisters blogs, you're welcome as well. I hope you both continue to come back because I pride my self in efficiency and sincerity.
